Last night, I dreamed that I was giving a lecture at a college. The entire class was listening to what I said except for one dark-haired guy who was sitting in the middle of the room. He kept rolling his eyes and loudly sighing. Finally, he stood up and walked out of the room. I kept lecturing. Suddenly, the guy came back in the room and sat down at his desk. I continued to lecture. The guy stood up again and walked out. Then a few minutes later, he came back. Then he left again.
Finally, exasperated, I pointed at the classroom door and said, “Can someone lock that?”
Everyone in the class laughed appreciatively but, to my irritation, no one actually stood up to lock the door.
“I’m being serious,” I said, “Can no one tell me how to lock that door?”
No one answered so I promptly left the room, slamming the door behind me.
